R2I Community Champion Distinguished Service Award

Provides flexible resources directly to leaders to prevent burnout and expand opportunity.

Flexible Funding for Community-Led Change

Heroes walk among us every day.

They mentor, fight for justice, care for neighbors, build coalitions, and hold communities together, often with few resources and little recognition. GNOFN’s Restoration and Rejuvenation Initiative (R2I) was created to change that.

Each awardee can use their award funds for rest and renewal – however they define it. We believe that when we invest in sustaining the people at the heart of social change, we strengthen the movements they lead. These awards are a powerful statement about the importance of celebrating those who are making a positive difference in our communities and of supporting their wellbeing.

GNOFN is now accepting nominations from across the community to celebrate the community and nonprofit leaders who are making a difference across Southeast Louisiana.
