GNOFN Announces Board Transitions
This May, the Board of Directors announced board leadership transitions for the Greater New Orleans Funders Network (GNOFN).
We extend our deep appreciation to Flozell Daniels, Jr. (Mary Reynolds Babcock Foundation), who stepped down from his role as GNOFN’s board co-chair. Flozell’s commitment to GNOFN is the foundation upon which our work relies, and his vision for a more just and equitable Greater New Orleans continues to shape the future of our work. For the past 10 years, Flozell’s steady hand has been central to the success of our network, and we look forward to his continued presence on the Board of Directors. We are pleased to welcome Dr. Deirdre Johnson Burel (W.K. Kellogg Foundation) as GNOFN’s incoming board co-chair, who will join co-chair Scot Spencer (Annie E. Casey Foundation) to lead our network forward.
We also express our sincere gratitude to Carmen Randolph (Women’s Foundation of the South), who departed the Board of Directors this month. Carmen’s strategic leadership and steadfast support have been invaluable for our growth and impact. We welcome Ella Delio (Women’s Foundation of the South) as our newest board member. Ella’s brings deep experience in philanthropy and cross-sector initiatives to GNOFN’s work. Earlier this year, we celebrated Toya Randall (Casey Family Programs), whose board service strengthened our entire network through her work to forge key partnerships and sharpen cross-sector strategies.
These transitions are in effect as of June 30, 2026.
